Often, life hits us hard, seemly out of nowhere comes a fast-throwing curve ball that we either duck or dodge it or catch it while on the run.  What we do after that is up to us.  Do we stop and pause or do we throw the caught ball towards the designated target or opposite direction and keep running forward in the right direction?  Do we decide alone in our search for meaning and happiness, are we truthful in our self-evaluations, open with our feelings and willing to do what is ours to do and let go of what is not ours to do to bring about change with dignity, respect for ourselves and others, and, with courage?  Let's take a deep breath, hold it till you can't, let it go and feel your body relax.  And, as we take a few moments in silence to reflect on these questions, we know what we are never alone.  God, Divine Presence, is always with us guiding us from within the gift of wisdom to use discernment and good judgement.  We will come to know that in silence through prayer or meditation we find our answers, and an awareness of who we truly are spiritual beings in a physical body.

    We become more aware of our beliefs of limitations and how we choose to perceive the thoughts that we put out into the world through our words and actions.  We have been told that what we believe can become our experience.  Self-inquiry takes courage to question everything, and to be willing to sit with ourselves because what we want in our hearts is Truth.  We can be easily distracted by lack and fear, created by chaos and confusion of this time in history.  God, the divine in each of us when we sit in silence expressing through us as us, we get to know what is true in every moment.  May we be grateful for the relationships in our lives for they are our teachers and the wisdom shared by many throughout our journey here on Earth.  Thank you, God, and so it is.
