Centered in Spirit

A Course in Miracle tells us this. “The "little I" seeks to enhance itself by external approval, external possessions, and external "love." The Self That God created needs nothing. It is forever complete, safe, loved, and loving. It seeks to share rather than to get; to extend rather than project. It has no needs, and wants to join with others out of their mutual awareness of abundance.”

We must make our path, both spiritually and in the world, about proving the Truth of who we really are. The Truth of us is invulnerable to the slings and arrows of life. The "little self" thinks we need to protect ourselves and take on the battle of what seems to oppose us in the world. Living our lives this way makes us believe that there is something to be lost or gained. What we find however is winning a battle does not give us the fulfillment for which we yearn.

The paradox is to begin to embrace all of life out of our wholeness, understanding that nothing can be lost, and nothing can fulfill us more, no matter what happens. It is our shadow beliefs that trick us into believing otherwise. When we embrace our shadow and bring it into the light, the shadow disappears. It has no Truth to it.

Join us Sunday as we conclude our "I of the Storm" series with a final message, "Centered in Spirit."
